How To Ensure An Accurate Guest Count For Families and Couples

Modern Stamp provides a convenient way to manage families and couples in your guest list through the Connect Guests feature. You can utilize this feature in the following scenarios:

1. Inviting a family to your event, including children.
2. Inviting a couple.
3. Inviting a family or couple when you don't have the email addresses or phone numbers for all members.

By connecting guests, you enable them to see who else in their family is invited and allow them to RSVP for each family member, ensuring an accurate guest count.

To begin, simply click the Connect icon next to the guest you wish to connect. Here's a step-by-step example:

1. Let's say you're inviting the Smith family to your event, so you add Jack and Jill (the parents) to your guest list. To create the Smith family, click the Connect icon for Jill.

2. Type the family name, then click in the Add Member section to add Jack to the family.

3. As you start typing Jack's name, the auto-fill feature will find him. Select him to add him to the family.
4. To include Jack and Jill's kids, return to the Add Member section and enter their names, leaving the email field empty. For example, their kids might be Timmy and Tommy.

5. Once you've added both children, click Save to finalize the family. You've now created the "Smith" family in your Guests to Invite list!

When Jack or Jill receive the invitation, they can respond for themselves or the entire family.

The Manage Invitation page will track all activities, ensuring seamless management of your guest list.
